Have you dotted all of your i’s and crossed all of your t’s?

Is your business primed for holiday traffic and networking opportunities?

Whether you’ve got a mastermind holiday strategy in the works or are struggling to pull ideas together, we’ve got some easy ideas you can implement now to draw more holiday traffic your way.

Hold a Sidewalk Sale

If your location is in a high traffic shopping area or a strip mall with other retailers, consider coordinating a sidewalk sale with the businesses around you. Shoppers are more likely to trek to an area with lots of great deals and save time driving all over town then they are to head to multiple stores all over town.

Your sidewalk sale can be promoted via flyers and also on each participating businesses’ social media channels.

Host a Holiday Party

Holiday marketing is not just for Business to Consumer companies. The holidays are a great time to host an open house or holiday party to engage with potential clients and stay top of mind during the holiday season. Invite staff, potential clients, referral partners and current clients and make it fun! Consider doing a food or toy drive or holding a silent auction for a local charity.

Make your open house fun and interactive by decoration your offices and having guests vote on the best desk or cubicle. Make sure guests leave with brochures or flyers that encourage them to do business with you in the future.

Send out a Direct Mailer

Consumers are poised to shop right now. Direct mailers are a great way to highlight holiday specials or products that would make great gifts. Your mailer can be sent to consumers in certain neighborhoods or zip codes that are within a certain radius of your store.

We help lots of businesses reach prospective consumers online and through direct mail. Let us help you connect with RVA!

Run Facebook Ads

Facebook ads are extremely affordable and a great way to reach targeted groups of people. Come up with several different images and copy based on your business’ target audiences. The great thing about Facebook ads is that you can target down to interests, family status, marital status and much more.

Facebook advertising tips:

  • Target locally
  • Check out the Facebook interests sections to see if any apply to your audience
  • Use eye-catching images
  • Images with people smiling do very well on Facebook
  • Don’t use more than 20% text in your image (Facebook will not approve it)
  • If you have a promotion to run, try Facebook’s “Offer” option.

Send Real Holiday Cards

Sometimes the most effective form of marketing is just sending that personal touch. Buy some Christmas cards to send out to your favorite clients with a personal thank you! You could include a special promotion for current clients only to gain some last minute traffic to your store or boost sales after the holidays.

Blogger Gift Guides
